This is how i built this web page

The idea to build my resume page came when i was looking for tips on how to better attract employers. I read some articles explaining how resume sites work and how to make one. The live examples that i found are inspiring  so i got started right away.

Good for me i have some some experience making and administering my own WordPress websites so i knew what to do. I’m not a pro web designer but i have the necessary skills to make the web page look and perform well.

I researched what type of domain name would be best for me and the .tech  extension was perfect for a tech guy, business or blog. I also choose my last name to keep the domain name short and make it easy to remember and type in the address bar. And that is how toval.tech was borned.

I already had a hosting account where i host my other website www.100x35fitness.com so i took advantage of that since my hosting plan can have multiple websites at no extra cost. Then i bought the domain also with the same hosting company (Hostgator), they have a really good offer so it all cost me $3.99 for the first year. Really cheap for a lot of benefit.

Then i made a new WordPress installation for https://toval.tech. I found, installed and activated a nice plugin that lets you display the resume in a nice, flexible and very organized way so i used that.

To my my surprise i still had to redirect the DNS address of the new domain to the hosting account even when both the domain registration and the hosting were done with the same company. I used other hosting and domain providers before and never had this issue. However this was not a big issue but i wanted to mention it anyways to document how i created my webpage. Then i enabled SSL and added security, antispam and other plugins that allowed  this website to have the look and the functions it needed. And here we are. Thank you for visiting.

As for the language i am fully bilingual in spanish and english and  since the preferred business language of the industry is english i will use that language to demonstrate my proficiency in it.

I will keep my resume constantly updated so you can revisit to see any updates in my skills and qualifications. I’m always studying, taking courses, experimenting, improving and  acquiring new skills.

Periodically i will post on the blog section tips on how to solve a technical problem, new it certifications acquired and how i developed new and already acquired skills so you can evaluate me and see if i am a good fit for your company.

You should contact me now before i get taken.
